Advanced Driver Assistance Systems

ADAS, short for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, refers to a range of technologies integrated into vehicles to enhance safety and driving experience. These systems utilize sensors, cameras, and algorithms to provide features like adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and automatic emergency braking.

Lane Departure Warning

Alerts driver when they have drifted from designated lane without proper signaling.

Collision Avoidance System

Detects risk of collision and automatically engages brake system to avoid crash.

Automatic Emergency Braking

Automatically engages braking system when an impeding collision is detected.

Blind Spot Detection

Monitors blind spots around vehicle and alerts driver when an obstacle is present.

Pedestrian Detection

Alerts driver when a pedestrian has been detected in their path of travel.

Adaptive Headlights

Adjusts lamp’s brightness / positioning to improve visibility in low light conditions.

Calibration is Critical

ADAS calibration is a critical aspect of modern vehicle repair, and its importance cannot be overstated. When ADAS sensors and cameras are not correctly calibrated after collision repairs or windshield replacements, vehicles can exhibit erratic behavior, leading to accidents and liability concerns. By leaving your calibration needs to experts like us, you ensure that every vehicle leaving your shop is not only roadworthy but also complies with safety regulations.

Beyond this, calibrated ADAS systems enhance driver and passenger safety by functioning as intended, preventing accidents, and reducing the severity of collisions. In today’s automotive landscape, ADAS calibration isn’t just a choice; it’sa responsibility that impacts safety, compliance, and reputation.
